Two French women have not been heard from since Friday June 14. The two tourists disappeared in Sikinos, Greece. One of them sent a worrying message after a fall.

In Sikinos, a small island in the Cyclades in Greece, two French women disappeared on Friday June 14. The two women, aged 73 and 64, had left their respective hotels in Sikinos to meet up, according to local media. Since then, almost no news. On the morning of Friday June 14, one of them contacted the owner of her hotel by SMS. She sent him a photo of herself lying on the ground, specifying that she tripped after a bad fall. The owner tried to contact her, asking for her GPS location. No answer.

The weather was very difficult during the day there. The heat was suffocating. This disappearance occurs in a very particular context. In one week, three tourists were found dead in the country. Most of them had undertaken hikes in the middle of a heatwave.
