(Quebec) The Coalition avenir Québec (CAQ) was able to resist the Conservative rise in the greater Quebec City region without too much damage, but did not manage to expel from the city center the two united MNAs, elected with good majorities .

The table is therefore set for other lively debates on the third link, while caquists and those in solidarity defend diametrically opposed positions on this multi-billion tunnel project.
“It couldn’t be clearer. The CAQ offers a third link. People vote, among other things, knowing that and we have good results in the region, ”reacted the former minister responsible for the Capitale-Nationale and re-elected deputy in Louis-Hébert, Geneviève Guilbault.

QS official opposition… in Quebec
Québec solidaire (QS) defended its two downtown seats despite efforts by the CAQ, notably in Jean-Lesage, where François Legault himself was making phone calls on Monday to call on voters to vote.

Solidarity Sol Zanetti was re-elected in Jean-Lesage after a campaign focused on air quality. The two elected members of QS represent the most central sectors of Quebec.

Suspense in Beauce
The Conservative Party of Quebec (PCQ) had great ambitions for the Quebec region. As of press time, he was on his way to being cleared, but finished second in several constituencies.

The Liberal Party of Quebec (PLQ) has been wiped off the map in Quebec. The Liberals had won 12 of the greater region’s 18 seats in 2014, then only one in 2018, losing in a partial a year later.
