Gone are the days when, confined, we cooked our own bread, fresh pasta or Portuguese tarts at home?
Canadians are back in restaurants and bars, as evidenced by Statistics Canada data on sales of food services and drinking places across the country.
In April 2022, the most recent data available, the total of these sales amounted to 7.2 million Canadian dollars. At the same time, in 2019, they were $6.4 million. An increase of more than 12%.
