At 44, Grand Corps Malade – alias Fabien Marsaud – is a fulfilled man. Not content with having great success in music, he also found a soul mate. The artist has been married since 2008 to Julia, with whom he became the father of two children. In seven to eighthe rarely mentioned his couple.
Grand Corps Malade met his wife in 2006 and since then he has been living a superb love story far from the worldliness of show business. The couple thus avoids showing themselves as much as possible, preferring to live in the shadows. This allows lovers to also preserve their children, two boys, born in 2010 and 2013. The interpreter of the tube The trips en train thus confided to the TF1 cameras all the admiration he has for Julia: “She is a strong woman who also manages the family well, the time for her children and her husband. I am anything but a macho. At home, I try to do my part as much as possible.“There is no doubt that the latter is sensitive to the mental load of women, a subject that did not yet exist in public debate a few years ago.
Grand Corps Malade also said to himself “very proud of the job“of his wife, who is not really glamorous since she works in the civil service in a town hall. “She takes care of people’s lives. She necessarily does social work given her job“, he said, he who is very concerned by these themes. He notably co-wrote and co-directed the films patients and Student services office. When the artist is not busy with his multiple projects or collaborations, he spends his free time enjoying his children. “It was not the confinements that made me discover the life of a father at home. I have always been very close to my children, I help them with homework, I take them to sports. But I found out what it’s like to be with them 24/7 and it’s more than homework. We weren’t bored during the confinement but these are good memories“, he added.
It should be noted that Grand Corps Malade, whose last album entitled ladies has been a hit with more than 350,000 copies sold, starts this month a new tour which will take the roads of France until next December.
