At 44, Grand Corps Malade – alias Fabien Marsaud – is a generous artist. So to attend the final of the Slam Trophies, at school at the Petit Théâtre Saint-Martin in Paris, on May 23, 2022, the artist was not asked. The opportunity for the one who married since 2008 to Julia, with whom he became the father of two children, to find the poet Marc Smith. At the crossroads of poetic writing and orality, slam develops confidence and self-esteem and promotes better mastery of the language. Launched in 2017 by the Culture & Diversity Foundation, the Slam Trophy at school, with the help of the French Slam League, aims to spread the practice of slam within colleges. This year, 780 students took slam workshops in their college with a professional artist. Among them, 50 young slammers have been selected to come and represent their college, during the traditional big Finale evening at the Saint-Martin Theater in Paris.

It was in 2006 that he met his wife Julia with whom he lives a love story far from the worldliness of show business.
