What are the French expecting from the ongoing political negotiations, following the results of the legislative elections? Wednesday June 22, the 19/20 asked the question to the inhabitants of Montargis, in the Loiret.

Faced with the political negotiations in progress at the top of the State, the voters crossed Wednesday, June 22 in Montargis (Loiret) are waiting and above all hope that a possible agreement between parties will improve their daily lives. A Marine Le Pen voter explains that she wants more measures to counter the soaring fuel prices. A left-wing voter is worried about her retirement. “Retirement at 65 is not possible, we cannot”she testifies.

For the youngest voters, the priorities are ecology and student precariousness. Others hope above all that the president shows compromise. “In difficult times, all goodwill must come together“, considered a resident. According to a survey published on Wednesday June 22, only 19% of the French would be in favor of a government of national unity.
