Monday, May 22, the newly appointed government of Elisabeth Borne must already work on the many projects that await it. In duplex of the Élysée, we find Caroline Demangeat.
The government of Elisabeth Borne has no time to lose in order to meet the expectations of the French. Purchasing power is the priority of ministers who must fight against inflation. To the outcome of Council of Ministers of this Monday May 23, the spokesperson of the government, Olivia Grégoire, announced that a bill was going to be presented before the period of the legislative elections. The objective is to have this law passed as quickly as possible by the newly elected deputies.
Discussions should be started with the various unions and employers as of September 2022 for a new text on pensions. The government’s goal is to introduce legislation in early 2023. The ecological transition should also occupy an important place. The new government should not hide health and education either, which are two important themes of this new five-year term.
