The novelties and tasty activities of early spring not to be missed.
Unzip your taste buds
Freshness is still in the air, but the first signs of spring are already being felt with the great return of several festive events where discovery and tasting go hand in hand. This is particularly the case for Printemps dézIPpé, the private import wine fair, whose 13e edition takes place on Sunday March 26 at Bonsecours Market. This event brings together more than 6,000 wines and spirits from around the world, including niche and rare products on the market, as well as dozens of producers, brewers and distillers. This is therefore the ideal opportunity to equip ourselves with tasting coupons and stock up on good bottles that we can exceptionally buy individually until March 27th.
A good vintage
After a two-year break, the joyful and gourmet rendez-vous La Cuvée will take place from March 30 to 1er April at the 1861 Salon in Griffintown. A clever cocktail of exclusive products, Quebec alcohols and non-alcohols (beers, spirits, wines and ciders), food and rock music from the past decades, La Cuvée is a space synonymous with celebration. Each evening will be devoted to a theme. On Thursday March 30, the Ça part fort evening will highlight distillery products. Then, the next day and the day after, it will be beers and rare products that will be in the spotlight, with a touch of burlesque to enhance the atmosphere. A fitting way to celebrate the arrival of spring!

weekend basket
We already knew about picnic baskets and ready-to-eat meals. But the tapas bar and rotisserie Tinc Set, little brother of the Outremont restaurant Alma, has decided to mix things up by presenting a basket of food containing everything you need to feast on a weekend evening and the next morning. Small beers, preserves and olives for the aperitif, a central dish of roast chicken or octopus with paprika with a wine pairing, a dessert, as well as baguette bread, organic eggs and milk to get up from good foot; this enticing menu for two people (Sea + Land Menu) can be ordered online and picked up from Thursday to Sunday at the restaurant. A good idea for a tête-à-tête at home, at the cottage or during a getaway.
