Tasty news not to be missed.

Experiential bubbles

How do you enjoy winter beauty and breathtaking city views, while staying warm and enjoying yourself? All of these options have been available since December at the boutique hotel William Gray, as well as since this week at Refuges du Bivouac, the restaurant at the DoubleTree hotel by Hilton Montreal. Known for their summer terraces respectively overlooking Old Montreal and the effervescence of Place des Arts, the two establishments have equipped them with heated domes that can accommodate from two to eight people wishing to live a gourmet and comfortable experience out of the ordinary. In the second case, each dome also has a private enclosure to choose its music, and the proposed formula includes a glass of champagne as an aperitif, as well as a seasonal six-course boreal menu signed by chef Xavier Dahan. What to spend memorable evenings until April.

winter syrups

When the cold seizes us, what a pleasure to warm our palate with a good hot drink! And why not add a touch of natural flavor to it? This is what Patrice Plante, alias Monsieur Cocktail, offers with three new syrups: the first with vanilla caviar from Madagascar, the second with a creamy taste of roasted hazelnuts (without traces of nuts) and the third with caramel with fleur de salt. Free from artificial flavours, vegan and gluten-free, these three syrups are added to the mixologist’s popular pumpkin spice flavored concentrate. Designed to flavor our coffees and hot chocolates, they can also be used in cocktails, desserts and ice creams. Yum !

Adaptogenic tea

Facing winter and germs has never been more pleasant. Indeed, Camellia Sinensis, renowned for its quality teas and infusions, has designed Winter Tulsi, a blend with antiviral, antibacterial and anti-stress properties perfect for the cold and flu season. This herbal tea with vegetable colors, with purplish and white floral accents, contains in particular nettle, willowherb, oregano flower and holy basil, which is also called tulsi. It is the latter which marks the tasting with its spicy (pepper) and fruity (blueberry) character. To drink without moderation.
