This Quebec company was founded in 2019 by a couple of Quebec entrepreneurs of Tunisian origin and their eldest daughter, with the aim of offering healthy and tasty options as alternatives to sugar, while taking advantage of the nutritional contribution date – a fruit rich in natural fibers, vitamins and minerals.
With its sweet taste and caramel notes, date syrup is ideal for making cookies or tender bars, enhancing smoothies and yogurts, or simply pouring over pancakes.

This syrup, typical of Tunisian cuisine, is made without any added sugar; once harvested, the dates are pitted and cooked over low heat, then pressed to extract what is called “the precious honey of the desert”. The dates used by the company also come from a region of Tunisia which is managed in an eco-responsible manner.
Création Delicia also manufactures other products based on this fruit, such as Degla date sugar, as well as Cœur de dates and Chocodatte drinks.
