The Rock en Seine programmers announced this Thursday, February 1: the American group Gossip, which is preparing to break a 12-year absence with a new album expected in the coming weeks, is also back on stage and joining the poster for the festival which will take place from August 21 to 25, 2024 in Saint-Cloud, near Paris.

In the very masculine environment of guitar groups, Gossip stands out with two powerful female figures, the singer Beth Ditto, a beast of the stage, and the tattooed drummer Hannah Blilie, another centerpiece. Their new album Real Powerscheduled for release on March 22, 2024, is produced by Rick Rubin, a mixing console guru with an incredible CV with collaborations with Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jay-Z and Shakira.

The Last Dinner Party, a British female quintet, is also one of the new announcements of this festival on the outskirts of Paris. It’s one of the latest independent rock sensations, with a first album scheduled for Friday February 2, “Prelude to Ecstasy”.

On the French side, you can expect a big atmosphere with Asteréotypie. This collective with singers and singers with autistic disorders, accompanied by former Moriarty musicians, sweeps away preconceived ideas about disability. These artists, who write their own texts, eat up the stage, escorted by a deluge of decibels. Still in the French ranks, we must also anticipate a nice electric storm with The Psychotic Monks.

Rock en Seine has already previously revealed its big headliners, Lana Del Rey, PJ Harvey, Massive Attack, The Offspring, The Hives, The Kills and even Måneskin.

The Domaine national de Saint-Cloud will also host The Smile, a parallel project by Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood, who escaped from Radiohead. Zaho de Sagazan, LCD Soundsystem and Fred Again were also previously revealed (full programming on the festival networks).

Last year, Rock en Seine attracted 144,000 festival-goers. An edition which was marked by a 100% female opening evening around the young American star Billie Eilish.
