given a standing ovation, the public only has eyes for the comedian!

If there is one personality who should never doubt his popularity in Morocco, it is Gad Elmaleh! Friday, November 18, the comedian was in Marrakech for the 19th edition of the International Film Festival which is currently held in the city since November 11 and this until Saturday, November 19. The actor was warmly welcomed by a cheering crowd, as the photos in our slideshow (above) can attest.

The father of Raphaël and Noé was accompanied by Aure Attika and Géraldine Nakache in particular. Together, they walked the red carpet before attending the screening of Kyle Balda’s film, Minions: Once Upon a Time Gru unveiled this year.

Summary: “Long before he became the Master of Evil, Gru is just a 12-year-old suburban boy from the 70s, who, from the depths of his basement, painstakingly hatches a plan to take over the world. When the infamous group of Super villains, the Vicious 6, fire their leader, Gru tries to join the team, but suddenly becomes the sworn enemy of the top criminals.Gru is forced to flee and the Minions then try to train in Kung Fu in order to come to his aid, giving him the opportunity to discover that even super-villains sometimes need friends. Brimming with subversive humor, Minions 2: Once Upon a Time Gru contains even more scenes of heart-pounding action than previous Despicable Me’s.

An animation production in which Gad Elmaleh voices the main character for the fourth time (after Despicable Me; Despicable Me 2, Despicable Me 3 and The Minions, editor’s note). Claudia Tagbo, Omar Sy, Gérard Darmon, Jonathan Cohen complete the cast.
