This Thursday, January 12, 2023, Sasha Elbaz thus revealed that Cyril Hanouna loves all columnists in the same way except for one… Gilles Verdez! A sequence was thus broadcast and we hear the host say to Matthieu Delormeau during the commercial: “You’re good and you’re handsome, sometimes the guys are just good like Gilles but you’re good and you’re handsome …”. Booed by the public, Cyril Hanouna then tried to catch up live: “Gilles you are very good, I have always said that you were the best columnist but there are different beauties…”.
Géraldine Maillet then came to her rescue and launched: “You are more touched by the beauty of Matthieu than by that of Gilles…”. What Cyril Hanouna replied: “Exactly!”.
Delphine Wespiser also tried to add her two cents by saying: “Gilles has an atypical beauty…”. Offended by this sentence, Gilles Verdez came out of the silence and replied: “If you could shut your mouth…”. The former Miss France then nuanced her remarks: “Wait Gilles, last week from home I looked at you and I said to myself Gilles should let his beard grow in hipster mode, shorten on the sides and put a little volume in the hair…”. Not enough to convince the columnist who remained offended by the remark.
