Gilles Rossary-Lenglet, who had revealed and recognized his own role in the affair of “intimate video blackmail” in Saint-Étienne, was in turn indicted on Tuesday April 17 for “criminal association”, we learned franceinfo to the interested party. He had already been indicted for a year for “complicity in blackmail”.

The main protagonists in this affair have been summoned since Tuesday before the investigating judges of Lyon for confrontations. Gaël Perdriau (mayor of Saint-Étienne), Samy Kefi-Jérome (former deputy mayor), Pierre Gauttieri (former chief of staff of the mayor), Gilles Rossary-Lenglet were concerned by these confrontations with the victim of this affair, Gilles Artigues, former first deputy of Saint-Étienne. In this context, Gilles Rossary-Lenglet faced Gaël Perdriau.

The objective is to identify the role of each in the financing, filming and use of the sex tape showing Gilles Artigues in the company of an escort boy in a Parisian hotel released in 2022. Other confrontations are planned in May on the financial aspect.

The mayor of Saint-Étienne triple indicted

Until now, Gilles Rossary-Lenglet was the only one of the four accused not to be suspected of “criminal conspiracy”. Gaël Perdriau is indicted three times, for “blackmail”, “participation in a criminal association with a view to committing blackmail” and “embezzlement of public funds by a depositary of public authority”.

Samy Kéfi-Jérôme, former deputy mayor of Saint-Etienne, and Pierre Gauttieri were indicted for “participation in a criminal association” and for “blackmail”.
