With its star cast, composed among others of François Civil, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Alain Chabat and Vincent Lacoste, Gilles Lellouche’s new film ranks among the contenders for the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival.

Thursday May 23, at the Cannes Film Festival, after “Le Grand Bain”, Gilles Lellouche enters the race for the Palme d’Or with “L’amour ouf”, a hybrid film between romance and action, which will allow spectators to discover new faces. “It was for many their first film, so there was a kind of energy, a joy of making”, explains the director. The plot takes place in 1980, in the north of France, between the high school benches and the port docks.
