Gilles Bouleau not aware of the alleged rapes of Patrick Poivre D’Arvor? An alleged victim sees red!

Did he not know or does he not want to talk about it? This is the question that a good number of viewers and Internet users were asking themselves when faced with the testimony of Gilles Bouleau in We are live on France 2 last April 30. Indeed, the presenter of the JT of TF1 was the guest of Laurent Ruquier and Léa Salamé to discuss anecdotes about his life, discuss social issues, but also discuss the Patrick Poivre d’Arvor case, accused of rape by many alleged victims.

France 2 dedicated a subject to this affair on April 28, in Further investigation, in which we could discover many damning testimonies. This is why Laurent Ruquier wanted to gather the opinion of Gilles Bouleau, who now works at TF1 for many years and who was able to rub shoulders with PPDA for some time. “Little one: I think it was a very long time ago; little two: I think the protagonists of the time are no longer there; and thirdly, so personally – me for ten years I was not there , I was there at the beginning and I came back in 2011- I think there are plenty of people who were in the editorial staff, like me, who didn’t know”he let go in front of the journalists.

Aware of nothing

The newscaster of TF1 therefore assures that he was aware of nothing and did not hesitate to hammer it. “I did not know”he defended himself while specifying: “I have no reason to lie or hide. I have neither animosity nor protection to bring to PPDA: I did not know”. But for one of the alleged victims, this statement does not pass. Indeed, Cécile Delarue, who was allegedly raped by Patrick Poivre d’Arvor several years ago, was quick to take over her Twitter account after listening to Gilles Bouleau’s statement.

“Dear Gilles Bouleau. I didn’t know either”she begins before adding: “To be very raw, I knew he was stalking, everyone knew it and considered it normal, but I didn’t know he was raping. No, it’s not in the past, and yes, he needs an internal investigation. The ‘I didn’t know’, ‘it’s in the past’, have a taste of deja vu quite disgusting”she denounced in particular.
