Launched last January, the new morning show “Bonjour!” allows viewers to wake up gently with a good dose of news and testimonials of all kinds. At the helm of the program, the journalist Bruce Toussaint who also left BFMTV for the occasion, but also an army of columnists who take turns every morning alongside him.
This Friday, February 9, 2024, Bruce Toussaint and his columnists spoke of the anger of mimosa producers in the Alpes-Maritimes who have to face wild harvesting. “It’s as if I go to people’s homes, help myself in their homes, pick their flowers or help myself from the fridge because that’s our livelihood” declared Thomas Trintignac, a mimosist working in Pégomas, in front of the TF1 cameras.
Against all expectations, columnist Garance Pardigon decided to give them a little wink by appearing on screen with a pretty mimosa-colored jacket. Not enough to charm journalist Bruce Toussaint who then declared: “I don’t see it as mimosa color… It’s color blindness” before adding that he rather saw “a bit ugly color”. A little joke which then caused hilarity on set. “I’m kidding” the journalist then assured the columnist.
And if Garance Pardigon didn’t really react on set by being mocked about her jacket, she did not fail to respond a few hours later on X (formerly Twitter). “I announce: Gilles Bouleau has much better taste in clothing than Bruce Toussaint!”. The pretty blonde thus decided to compliment the presenter of the TF1 news and compare him to Bruce Toussaint to declare war on the latter, always with humor. For the moment, Bruce Toussaint has not yet responded to this digital attack.
