Gilbert Montagné beside himself and even more handicapped on a daily basis because of this technological development

Despite his handicap, Gilbert Montagné very rarely loses his smile. Ditto when you have to get out of your hinges. However, last weekend, during an interview with France Sunday, the 70-year-old artist ranted against a technological advance. If this makes life easier for many people, it is nevertheless very poorly thought out for the blind and the interpreter of We are going to love each other wanted to remind him.

“There is something that bothers me a lot at the moment”he told our colleagues before revealing this “trick” that bothered him: “it’s the fact that terminals for paying in shops, taxis etc. no longer have keys. They took them away from us. A blind person can’t type in his code anymore, it’s crazy no ?”. Despite his indignation, Gilbert Montagné manages to be positive. He knows that there are solutions and that he will fight to find them and propose them in the future: “So I’m going to have to get down to it, as I once worked on the vocalization of ticket machines. Ah, I can assure you that we’re not short of things to do”.

Positive in all cases

And even if the situation worries him, the one who defended Laurent Delahousse after his blunder when he came to the set of 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, the singer still manages to be positive. Our colleagues also wanted to know how he managed to do this despite his disability and his not always easy daily life.

“It’s natural and sincere, I don’t force myself”he admitted before adding: “And when it may happen that I have a few minutes that are a little less brilliant, I pull myself together, telling myself that it’s a waste of time. That we must honor life, what we are given. gave and for not a round besides […] That everything is fine and that I have no reason to complain”.
