Giants 7 – Eagles 38 | The Eagles advance to the National Association final without difficulty

(Philadelphia) Jalen Hurts cleared doubts about his right shoulder and was a part of three touchdowns for the Philadelphia Eagles, who outscored the New York Giants 38-7 on Saturday night.

Hurts threw two touchdown passes and added a middle finger on the ground, helping the Eagles reach the National Conference Finals.

First in the National standings, the Eagles will host the association final next Sunday. They will compete against 49ers San Francisco or the Dallas Cowboys.

Hurts had missed two season-ending losses with a right shoulder injury and he showed the Giants nothing in the final game of the campaign, as the Eagles presented a conservative offense designed to protect the quarter star.

Once in the playoffs, the Eagles let their offense do the talking, which manhandled the Giants. Hurts did damage with his arm and the offensive line gave openings to Miles Sanders and Kenneth Gainwell. The Philadelphia squad got 268 rushing yards during the game.

Hurts completed 16 of 24 passes for 154 yards. He showed that all was well with his arm when he joined DeVonta Smith for a 40-yard gain on the second play of the matchup.

The fun was just beginning for the Eagles.

Hurts threw a 16-yard touchdown pass to slotback Dallas Goedert, who caught the ball one-handed. The quarterback then spotted Smith in the end zone for a nine-yard major.

The score was 14-0 in the first quarter and the Giants were already in the cables. The New Yorkers committed a turnover on tries on their first possession and Daniel Jones was the victim of an interception during the second series on offense.

The Eagles took a 21-0 lead when Boston Scott cleared the three yards to the end zone. It was an 11e career touchdown against the Giants for Scott.

Hurts capped off the first half with a five-yard rushing touchdown to extend a 28-0 lead.

Gainwell carried the ball 12 times for 112 yards, including 35 on a touchdown late in the game. Sanders added 90 yards on 17 carries.

Matt Breida had an eight-yard rushing touchdown for the Giants in the third quarter. Jones had 15 of 27 attempts from the air caught for 135 yards.
