Lockett redeemed himself after committing two errors earlier in the game and running back Kenneth Walker III added a major to help the Seahawks (5-3) stay atop the National Conference West Division.

The Giants (6-2) saw their four-game winning streak come to an end and they lost ground in the run-up to the Nationals’ East Division. The Philadelphia Eagles kept their perfect record.

The Seahawks, who won their third straight game, held running back Saquon Barkley to 53 yards on 20 carries and nine yards on three catches.

Lockett caught a short pass in the first half, but Adoree Jackson forced and recovered a fumble, which led to a one-yard run for a Barkley touchdown. Next, Lockett found himself behind the Giants secondary, but fumbled a 33-yard pass that would have given the Seahawks a major.

When he had another chance, Lockett redeemed himself. He first made a 12-yard catch and then made a nice run off Jackson along the sidelines. Smith’s pass was accurate and the Seahawks took a 20-13 lead.

The Seattle squad added an insurance touchdown through Walker with 5:22 remaining in the game. Walker had a 16-yard payout run just two plays after a Richie James fumble on a punt.

Walker finished the game with 51 yards on 18 carries. Smith completed 23 of 34 passes for 212 yards. The Seahawks quarterback also threw a three-yard touchdown pass to DK Metcalf.
