The anger of farmers worries the German government. Since Monday, January 8, blockages have taken place throughout the country. Farmers refuse the end of subsidies on their fuels. In the parades, anti-government slogans flourish. Last week, several hundred farmers even tried to block the Minister of Economy’s ferry. The movement, which is very popular, must last until next Monday and should be joined by the railway workers on Wednesday.
Fascist salutes in Rome
In Italy, a fascist salute created controversy. Since 1978, every year, a salute has been held in memory of the death of three activists of a fascist movement. 200 people gathered in the heart of Rome, a scandal for the left which claims that it feels like Mussolini’s Italy in 1924. Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni did not react despite the opposition’s attacks.
