Hundreds of environmentalists converged on Europe’s largest Tesla factory, in the German region of Brandenburg, on Friday May 10. Activists are protesting against an expansion of the site. “We must support the population to protect drinking water and fight against the enormous profits of this entrepreneur” said Disrupt Tesla spokesperson Ole Becker.
Farmers’ protest in Poland
In Poland, it is the farmers who demonstrate and block the pparliament. They took to the streets of the capital, Warsaw, on Friday to protest against the European Green Deal. The restriction of pesticides and the carbon neutrality that it provides worries them.
On the Spanish channel TVE, Friday marked the last day of campaigning for the elections in Catalonia. The favorite is the socialist candidate, supported by Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez.
