Gérard Prêcheur is no longer the coach of the women’s section of PSG, the sports management of radio France learned on Thursday, September 28, from those close to the club, confirming information from the Parisian. At the end of his contract on June 30, the 63-year-old coach was extended by one year. But just three months later, he left.

A departure in “agreement”, between the technician and the capital club. It is his son, Jocelyn, who takes over the reins of the team until the end of the season and who will be on the bench on Sunday, at the Parc des Princes against Olympique Lyonnais, the flagship match of the 2nd day of D1 Arkema.

The former OL coach replaced Didier Ollé-Nicole in the summer of 2022, sidelined after accusations of behavior “inappropriate” towards a player. An internal investigation and judicial information against X had also been opened for “sexual assault by a person in authority”. Former Parisian attacker, Kadidiatou Diani, filed a complaint for sexual assault on September 27 for facts dating back to 2021.

Gérard Prêcheur managed to take his team to the French Cup final, the Champions League quarter-final and to play for the championship title until the penultimate day of D1F.
