“Yes this is it”, “it’s fine without being eaten without hunger” or “Merry Christmas Felix!” : all these replicas that have become cult come from the film “Santa Claus is garbage”, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. On this occasion, the CinéComédies festival in Lille is organizing a special evening on October 1, with Gerard Jugnotdirector Jean-Marie Poire as well as Bruno Moynot (Mr. Preskovic).

For the very first time, an exhibition will be dedicated to the Splendid troupe, from this Saturday until October 9, free admission to the Palais Rihour. “We asked all the members of Le Splendid to contribute: we recovered scripts, claps, costumes, rare posters, especially from the beginning of Le Splendid. We don’t recognize them: Michel Blanc still has hair in the photos !”, laughs Jérémie Imbert, the artistic director of CinéComédies, in full assembly of the exhibition. You will also find there the painting representing a pig, used in all the representations of the play “Santa Claus is a garbage”.

Pierre Richard, Claude Lelouch, Louis Garrel, Anne Goscinny…
