Gérard Depardieu back, a member of the jury self-rewards at the Cineroman Festival

A page turns, waiting for next year. The Cineroman Festival, which celebrated and highlighted the cinematographic adaptations of literary works for its third edition, ended on Sunday, October 24, 2021. To say goodbye to this exceptional event, organized in the city of Nice, and to applaud the five winners – awarded with a sculpture by the artist Sacha Sosno – the president of the jury, Nicolas Bedos, found his acolytes as well as a shower of celebrities from the French seventh art.

The lucky guys who attended this closing ceremony were able to see the director of the film The good times on the arm of his partner Pauline Desmonts, but also his sister Victoria as well as Danièle Thompson, Emmanuelle Devos, Agnès Jaoui, David Foenkinos, Lou de La age, Benjamin Lavernhe, the members of the jury. Also present in the room: Daniel and Nathalie Benoin, the organizers of the Cinéroman Festival, Samuel Le Bihan, Guilaine Londez, Florian Zeller, Michel Boujenah, Anthony Borré, the 1st deputy of the city of Nice, Frédéric Tellier, Gilles Lellouche, Marie Gillain , Chloé Stefani, Gérard Jugnot, Joséphine Japy, Mélanie Doutey, Radu Mihaileanu, François-Xavier Demaison and his wife Anaïs, Guillaume de Tonquedec, Anne Charrier, Christophe Barratier, and the special guest of the evening … Gérard Depardieu!

Cineroman Festival, the winners

This third edition of the Cineroman Festival ended with the screening of the film Goliath, by Frédéric Tellier, in preview. Five prizes were also awarded. Already two Oscar winners with exceptional sound The Father, Florian Zeller won the Cinéroman prize at the Pathé Gare du Sud. Guilaine Londez won the Best Actress Award for her roles in Benedetta and The speech. Always for The speech, Benjamin Lavernhe was selected for the Best Actor Award – while he was himself part of the jury. Michel Boujenah received the Favorite Nice Côte d’Azur-Bijouterie Valer, a prize which rewards a film personality who has a strong relationship with the city of Nice in his work.
