The famous studio with big ears celebrates its centenary This year ! To properly celebrate this anniversary, Disney released October 16 a short film paying tribute to more than 500 cult figures
. But that’s not all ! Staged by Chris Buckthe Oscar-winning director of Snow QueenAnd Fawn Veerasunthorn (Raya and the Last Dragon), the new animated film Wish, Asha and the lucky star is likely to delight young and old, just a few weeks before the end of year celebrations!
A touching film
Great adventure full of colors, magic and luck, Wish, Asha and the lucky star is the future pleasant surprise from the Hollywood firm.
Asha, a 17-year-old girl lives in Rosas, a fantasy kingdom located off the coast of the Iberian Peninsula where all wishes can be granted. In a moment of confusion and despair, she sends a wish to the stars to which a cosmic force will respond: Star, a small celestial ball of infinite energy. Together, they will have to face the most formidable of enemies, the charismatic ruler of the kingdom, Magnifico. Quick-witted and idealistic, Asha and her traveling companions will prove that the wish of a determined person, mixed with the magic of the stars, can truly produce miracles.
An all-star voice cast
Terrific actors lend their voices to the different characters in the film. We will have the opportunity to find Océane Demontis (Asha), discovered in numerous musical comedies such as The Lion King Or Sherlock Holmes, the musical adventurebut also the international actor Lambert Wilson (King Magnifico), the multi-Cesareus Isabelle Adjani (Queen Amaya) and the cult Gérard Darmon (Valentino, Asha’s favorite goat). Did you know ? Lambert Wilson lent his voice to the character of Finn Mcmissile in Cars 2 and Baloo in the live action version of the Jungle Book.
