Georgian MPs fight in Parliament

A punch against a law. In Georgia, a general fight broke out in Parliament on Monday April 15. MPs were debating a controversial law which prohibits all foreign funding in the media, drawing inspiration from Russian legislation. A member of the opposition punched the head of an elected official from the ruling party, co-drafter of the bill. On Monday evening, hundreds of Georgians gathered in front of Parliament against this rapprochement with Russia.

Already a fire in Spain

A night of anxiety for the firefighters. Nearly 600 hectares went up in smoke in the Alicante region, Spain. The fire, fueled by heat and drought, forced 180 residents to temporarily leave their homes. The thermometer has exceeded 30°C in recent days. According to the Spanish authorities, burning could be the cause of this disaster.
