New face of French song, dubbed by Renaud or the group Tryo, Gauvain Sers released his new album “Ta place dans ce monde”. He evokes several themes that are close to his heart.
Sometimes described as the heir to singer Renaud, Gauvain Sers is one of the latest revelations of French song. He could have turned to a career as a computer engineer or professional tennis player, his other passions, but he preferred to perform songs he wrote himself. It’s at the Apollo, a concert hall in Dun-le-Palestel (Dig) that he took his first steps as an artist. “I just wanted to make a living from my music”, he recalls.
Gauvain Sers’ career was notably marked by his meeting with the group Tryo who has it sponsored, and even brought on stage in 2016. It was then, during the Phénix Tour de Renaud tour, in 2017, that he was inducted. In his texts, the young artist evokes various themes such as the closing of a school, but also reveals a little of his intimacy. Discreet about his private life, he still devotes a song to his companion who was present long before his success.
