Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival | Charlotte Cardin and Salebarbes on display

Charlotte Cardin, Jonathan Roy and Salebarbes are the headliners of the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival (FMG), which will be held from August 29 to September 2.

Charlotte Cardin, who has been on tour for several months for her latest album 99 Nights, will take the stage on the first day of the festival, Thursday. It’s been a big year for the Quebec singer-songwriter, who received the prestigious Album of the Year award at the Juno Awards.

Singer Jonathan Roy will offer a late-night show on Friday, while the festive group Salebarbes will perform on Saturday.

Isabelle Boulay, Souldia, Bleu Jeans Bleu and Laurence Nerbonne will also take to one of the three stages during the FMG, which takes place during the Labor Day long weekend.

The festival will also present a comedy gala, notably featuring Martin Petit and Virginie Fortin.

Other artists are expected to be added to the lineup soon.

In addition to the shows, the festival includes several activities, including obviously the flight of hot air balloons and fireworks.
