(Gatineau) A police investigation was triggered in Gatineau on Thursday when a camera was discovered in the toilets of an elementary school.
The Service de police de la Ville de Gatineau (SPVG) was informed around 10 a.m. Thursday morning that a “hidden” camera had been discovered in a washroom at l’Oiseau Bleu school.
The police immediately seized this camera and opened an investigation. No assumptions about how the object was installed were immediately revealed.
The SPVG indicated that “investigators’ expertise” will be carried out on the camera.
The police force assured that it would maintain close communication with the school administration.
About 450 pupils attend the primary school l’Oiseau Bleu.
