Five French people are in the running, Wednesday May 29, for the start of the second round at Roland-Garros. Despite three days disrupted by rain to start the fortnight, the tournament continues. The program promises to be busy with four high-level matches expected on the Philippe-Chatrier court. The day will start strong for the French public with Caroline Garcia opposing the former finalist (in 2020), the American Sofia Kenin.

Carlos Alcaraz will continue against the Dutchman Jesper de Jong (176th in the world), from qualifying, before a good showing between world No. 1 Iga Swiatek and Naomi Osaka, who occupied this rank before her motherhood. Finally, Richard Gasquet will face Jannik Sinner in the evening. Stefanos Tsitsipas, Ons Jabeur, Andrey Rublev and Coco Gauff are expected at Lenglen. As for Alexandre Müller and Chloé Paquet, they will try to do well to reach a 3rd round in a Grand Slam tournament for the first time in their career.
