Three people were injured Friday afternoon in a collision involving three vehicles on Route 132 West in Nouvelle, in the Gaspé Peninsula.
Emergency services were called to a multi-vehicle collision at around 3.15pm. Two of the three people suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
A police officer trained in collision investigation was dispatched to the scene to determine the causes and circumstances surrounding this accident.
The driver, who was traveling eastbound, reportedly found himself in the oncoming lane. That’s when he came into contact with two other vehicles. According to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), the driver’s discomfort could have been the cause of the accident.
