The funeral of actor Gaspard Ulliel is scheduled for Thursday January 27 in Paris, his agent Laurent Grégoire told AFP on Saturday January 22. The young actor, who was 37 years old, died on January 19 following a skiing accident which occurred the day before in the Savoyard resort of La Rosière. The ceremony must take place in the Saint-Eustache church, added the agent, who did not give further details.
The accidental death of Gaspard Ulliel has sparked a multitude of tributes to a man who led a brilliant career and was very popular in the film world.
An investigation was entrusted by the public prosecutor’s office of Albertville, in Savoie, to the CRS Alpes to clarify the circumstances of the fatal collision between Gaspard Ulliel and another skier, which occurred Tuesday afternoon in the resort of La Rosière, in Bourg- Saint Maurice. If the young actor suffered a head trauma which was fatal to him, the other skier escaped unscathed. He was heard as a witness, we learned Thursday, January 20. Further hearings were to take place as part of the investigation.
