At 38, Vicky Krieps already has thirty films to her credit and leads a career in Luxembourg and France, as well as in Germany, where she lives. Before dating Gaspard Ulliel, she was in a relationship with German actor Jonas Laux, with whom she had two children: a daughter named Elisa and a son, Jan-Noah (10 and 6 years old).
The action movie Hannah (2011), the German-Norwegian feature film From one life to another (2012), the British-American spy film A much wanted man (2014), the thriller Colonia the following year… So many films in which Vicky Krieps has distinguished herself in recent years. More recently, she has gained notoriety thanks to her role in Phantom Threaddirected by Paul Thomas Anderson (2017).
On February 25, she could well win her first César since she was nominated in the Best Actress category for her performance in the film Hug me tight (directed by Mathieu Amalric), which she presented at the Cannes Film Festival last summer. Despite the mourning, she showed a few smiles during the lunch of the nominees organized at the Fouquet‘s in Paris, Sunday 6 February.
