A week later, a terrible tragedy befell media chief Yannick Alléno. His son, Antoine, was riding a scooter in Paris when a driver, who fled, knocked him down fatally. This cooking enthusiast like his illustrious father was only 24 when he left on May 8. On the 26th, international fans of the legendary English band Depeche Mode mourned Andy Fletcher. In France as in the USA, cinema and song are in mourning

September 2022 is surely the most significant month for the whole planet. September 8 will go down in history forever as the day Queen Elizabeth II passed away at the age of 96 after 70 years of reign. Multicast around the world, his funeral will take place on the 19th, in the greatest protocol. Meanwhile, on the 13th, it was the Swiss director Jean-Luc Godard who decided on his end clap, at the age of 91, by assisted suicide. On November 25, the American actress, singer and songwriter Irene Cara, who became cult since her role in “Fame” and the interpretation of the title “Flashdance… What a feeling” died at the age of 63 in her Florida home. His family declined to disclose the cause of his death. 1erDecember, French cinema learned with great sadness of the departure of Mylène Demongeot. Finally, Thursday, December 29 saw the disappearance of two monarchs, true generational icons. King Pelé breathed his last at the age of 82 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, after battling cancer. On the announcement of his death, many personalities paid tribute to this football idol, starting with Kylian Mbappé, often considered his heir: “The king of football has left us but his legacy will never be forgotten. RIP ROI”, wrote the PSG star on Instagram. And a queen of fashion, Vivienne Westwood has also reached the stars, at the age of 81. The British designer and activist has also received many tributes, who celebrated her fifty-year career in 2021, had contributed to the social and musical rebellion movement in the late 1960s, as Boy George points out in a tweet: “RIP to the great Vivienne Westwood who guided us through punk and beyond.”
