An accident involving a garbage truck occurred on Wednesday in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville in the afternoon.
The driver of the truck, who was traveling on Boulevard Seigneurial, attempted a maneuver to avoid another vehicle without success, according to information from the spokesperson for the Longueuil agglomeration police department, Mélanie Mercille.
Upon impact between the two vehicles, the garbage collector in the back of the truck fell and injured his foot.
The latter was then transported to a hospital, said Agent Mercille.
