Mr. Barrette was a member of the CAQ and first ran under the banner of François Legault’s party before making the jump to the Liberal Party where he became Minister of Health and Social Services in 2014.

“It is surely not easy to do what he did in the first term because we always live difficult times when we try to change things”, declared the current Minister of Health, Christian Dubé .

For his part, the Minister responsible for Native Affairs, Ian Lafrenière, described Mr. Barrette as “a formidable adversary”.

François Bonnardel, Minister of Transport, spoke of “a deputy who, to a certain extent, was polarizing during his stay in the National Assembly”.

“Did he make good shots?” May be. Did he do bad things? Certainly, ”added Mr. Bonnardel.

The Minister for Health and Social Services, Lionel Carmant, for his part discussed its “impact” on youth centers.

He spoke in particular of “the fact of having put them in the CISSS and the CIUSSS without valuing the work of people in youth centers”.

The former Minister of Health and current Minister of Higher Education, Danielle McCann, above all stressed that “the task of Minister of Health is a big task. It is one of the biggest tasks ”.
