And for good reason, with health restrictions, the omicron variant, and its disagreement with the imposed gauges: “It is totally unfair insofar as we have not yet proven that in the theaters there were problems of contamination “, the comedian was forced to cancel several dates.
A heavy situation for the dad of Noah and Raphaël who must also face his fatigue and his weariness. Invited on the set of En Aparté on January 20, Gad Elmaleh said he was “fed up”. And more particularly travel and the road. Completely tired, if he has so far lied to himself, he now feels he must be honest: “I’m coming to a point in my career and my life, where the logistics of the tour, I can’t take it anymore. I can no longer travel. I can’t wait to get to the hotel anymore. I can’t make bags anymore. I can’t take the train anymore. I can’t go to the station anymore. I’ve had it up to here”.
Fortunately, his passion for the stage, his travels and the love of his public manage, together, to keep him on the surface “I’m not tired of the shows. I love going all over France, all over the world even. Because with the show in English, I really had the chance to go around the world. I like going in front of the public. I like to go there every night. I’m happy to be back with the public, especially at this time.”. But despite everything, past the fifties, the comedian would like to have a real home, and be able to stay there more often… “But no, we don’t feel at home (on stage nldr)”.
