The Montbrisonnais and the Clermontoise will be on the Beijing ice from noon (French time) for the rhythmic dance. The free program will be overnight from Sunday to Monday (2h15).

Four years ago at the PyeongChang Games, Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron came second after the short program. Despite a top performance in the freestyle, they had to settle for the silver medal. From noon, all eyes will be on the ice rink at the Chinese capital’s sports hall. The couple is expected as the great favorite and for the Montbrisonnais Guillaume Cizeron this is not a problem: “We are used to this position. We know that the results follow when we are happy with our performance. We seek to have fun on the ice and do our best“.
For the rhythmic dance, the Clermontoise and the Montbrisonnais have chosen to skate to music by John Legend. A piece inspired by “Waacking”, a dance born in gay clubs in the suburbs of Los Angeles in the 70s.
