Gabriel Attal, the resigning Prime Minister and president of the Ensemble pour la République group, sent a letter on Monday, August 12, to André Chassaigne, Cyrielle Chatelain, Stéphane Lenormand, Boris Vallaud and Laurent Wauquiez, all group leaders in the Assembly, forgetting to forward it to the members of the RN and LFI.

In this letter addressed “to political forces ranging from the Republican left to the Republican right”he draws up a “Action Pact for the French”to allow members of the National Assembly to “rise to the occasion and build legislative compromises geared towards the interests of the French people.”

The deputies of the Ensemble pour la République group have therefore identified six priority projects : “the restoration of public accounts and the strengthening of economic sovereignty”, “the defense of our values, our secularism and the renewal of our institutions”, “the quality of life of the French: their purchasing power, their housing and their work”, “the environment”, “security” And “public services, first and foremost education and health.”

Gabriel Attal “is therefore available” for a collaboration with the Ecologists, the PCF, LR, the PS, Horizons and the MoDem without “erase our differences and disagreements”but in them “exceeding” and in them “overcoming”.
