Prime Minister Gabriel Attal is “officially a candidate” to the presidency of the Renaissance group in the National Assembly and will be “probably the only one”declared the former president of the group, Sylvain Maillard, on France 2 on Friday July 12. The Renaissance group must elect its president on Saturday between 9 a.m. and noon, by electronic vote.
