Gabriel Attal denounces an extreme right which wants to be “against all treaties”

Six days before the European elections, Prime Minister Gabriel Attal answers questions, Monday June 3, in “8h30 franceinfo”, daily political news meeting, presented by Jérôme Chapuis and Sahlia Brakhlia. While the National Rally is at the top of the polls, it denounced an extreme right which wants to be “against all European treaties”. “With Valérie Hayer, we are proposing a plan of 1000 billion euros of investments in our economies, in green industries […] all sectors that will create jobs”, also declared Gabriel Attal. Then franceinfo brings together 12 guests – 11 top candidates and one candidate – for “Demain l’Europe”, a morning public event at the Maison de la radio, to be followed from 9 a.m. Follow our live stream.

The RN still leading the polls. The polls credit the National Rally list of Jordan Bardella with 32 to 34% voting intentions (32.5% in an Elabe poll published on Saturday), far ahead of the Macronist Valérie Hayer (16%) and the head of the Party list socialist/Public square Raphaël Glucksmann (13%).

Two motions of censure in the National Assembly. LFI and the RN will defend two motions of censure on Monday in the National Assembly which have little chance of bringing down the government but above all serve to hammer home their radical opposition to the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron six days before the European elections.

Last meetings. This weekend, it was time for general mobilization across all staffs. “Don’t be a spectator (of) the decline (of France) : become an actor in its recovery and come alongside us”, launched the National Rally candidate at the conclusion of a speech given to more than 5,000 supporters at the Paris Dôme. In the presidential camp, the challenge was to convince that “nothing is decided”, the omnipresent slogan of a large meeting on Saturday in Aubervilliers (Seine-Saint-Denis). Manon Aubry (LFI) in Toulouse, Raphaël Glucksmann in Marseille, Marie Toussaint (Ecologists) in Aubervilliers have all launched calls for mobilization, particularly aimed at young people.
