The Queen’s funeral ceremonies are not yet complete. They continue at Windsor Castle, Monday, September 19, where the journalist Ambroise is Bouleis.
After a funeral broadcast live around the world on Monday, September 19, the queen will be buried in the privacy of the family. “After 11 days of national mourning, after the exhibition of the coffin to the public, after multiple processions across the country, the final farewell of the royal family to Elizabeth II will be done without cameras or photographer“, specifies the journalist Ambroise Bouleislive from Windsor Castle (UK).
“In less than an hour, the king and his relatives will meet in the Georges VI memorial chapel (…). A short ceremony presided over by the Dean of Windsor who will carry out the burial of Elizabeth II alongside her husband, Prince Philip, her father, her mother and the ashes of her sister Margaret“, continues the journalist. The last image of the coffin will therefore remain its descent into the royal crypt, to the sound of bagpipes.
