Yannick Alléno hoped, like any parent, never to have to organize the funeral of one of his children. However, this Friday, May 13, the 53-year-old chef bids farewell to Antoine, his 24-year-old son born from his relationship with his ex-girlfriend Isabelle. A terrible task that he had to accomplish out of love for himself and for all those who crossed his path. Dressed in a sober black suit and tie, Yannick Alléno arrived in all sobriety. The emotion was palpable, especially when the multi-starred chef realized that the crowd had come to honor his son one last time.
Antoine Alléno had his whole life ahead of him but it came to an abrupt end on Sunday May 8th. In the evening, shortly after 11 p.m., the son of Yannick Alléno waited patiently for a light to turn green before restarting his scooter, on which he was transporting a passenger. But before he could leave, a car, which the drunk driver had just stolen, tumbled out the back at full speed and hit Antoine Alléno’s two-wheeler as well as the VTC which was parked right next to it. If the passenger and the taxi driver emerged unscathed from the accident, Antoine Alléno died instantly.
Tributes have multiplied after the announcement of his disappearance. After a period of silence, Yannick Alléno ended up taking the floor to express his “immense sadness” A few hours before the funeral of his son, the cook had split a poignant message on his Instagram account, addressed to Antoine: “My little angel !! It is today that you will enter eternity. (…) I’m proud of you ! It’s crazy to look at your life and see your action! All those who have crossed this smile and this look remember!“
