FULL SIGHT – The Meisenthal Christmas ball with France Bleu Lorraine in Metz

France Bleu Lorraine in Metz takes you on Metz Christmas market where you will discover an ancestral tradition: Meisenthal’s Christmas bauble, a different glass ball each year, made in a glass factory near Bitche. This year it is shaped like a fat ball for birds and is called “Piaf”. The Moselle people collect these balls and tear them off!

It’s a tradition, the Moselle reinvents the Christmas ball every year! © Radio France
