The explosion of a fuel depot left more than 200 injured in the separatist region of Nagorno-Karabakh on Monday September 25, said the authorities of this self-proclaimed republic. “The number of injured after the explosion of a fuel depot exceeds 200. The majority are in serious or very serious condition”said the human rights officer of the separatist region, Gegham Stepanyan, on social networks.

The armed forces of this country have just regained control of Nagorno-Karabakh. Azerbaijan launched a military operation in this secessionist region on September 19, winning a lightning victory. The separatists agreed on Friday to surrender their arms. Thousands of residents of Nagorno-Karabakh have taken refuge in Armenia, despite the President of Azerbaijan’s promise to guarantee the rights of Armenians remaining in this landlocked territory.
