FFaced with the sharp rise in prices that has occurred in recent months, supermarkets are offering promotions on several fruits and vegetables to build customer loyalty. Some brands have specialized in discounts. The point in the 13 Hours.

In a hypermarket, fruits and vegetables are sold, on an island, at bargain prices: between 99 cents and 1.29 euros per kilo. The department exists all year round, but customers are less hesitant to help themselves since inflation. “It works very well, it is acclaimed by customers on a daily basis”assures Bertrand Lafont, sales manager at Auchan.

On a market in Dijon (Côte-d’Or), apricots, cherries and strawberries are ripe at the same time. Prices are therefore falling. In the Parisian brand Nous anti-gaspi, which fights against waste, slightly damaged or small-caliber fruit is sold at -30%. “We had an increase in attendance on students, who come to us because they have small budgets, we have families, we have retirees”says Corentin Giraud, communications manager for Nous anti-gaspi.
