FRUIT BREAD with ELDERFLOWERS and strawberries

Per person :

2 to 3 slices of stale bread

½ beaten egg + 4 tbsp milk

1 tbsp elderflowers

1 tsp powdered sugar

1 tsp fat

1 small ladle of strawberries, washed, hulled and cut into small pieces

+1 tbsp elderflower

In a bowl put the egg + milk + elderflower + sugar and mix well. Leave to macerate for at least 30 minutes. Put the strawberries in a bowl with the elderflowers, mix and leave to macerate for at least 30 minutes. Put the bread to soak in the egg/milk mixture, turn the slices over until the bread is well soaked. If necessary press the slices so that the flowers adhere well to the bread.
