Laval: Cotton Sweatshirt Concert
“Hey! Do you fret? Are you just in cotton? If in your family, parents and children have fun singing this popular refrain, know that Bleu Jeans Bleu will be in concert at Bernard-Landry Park, in Laval, on Sunday. Claude Cobra and his group will launch the 8e edition of the musical zones of the city. From July 9 to August 27, more than 350 artists will perform in eight different venues. During the summer, we will notably be able to hear Marie-Annick Lépine, Scott-Pien Picard, Daniel Boucher, Salomé Leclerc, Diane Tell and Lisa LeBlanc. All for free. All that’s left to do is bring your cotton swaddle to avoid getting “fretted” at the end of the evening.
Bleu Jeans Bleu and, in the first part, Bermuda will be in concert on July 9, at 7:30 p.m., at Bernard-Landry Park, in Laval.

Looking for a beautiful hike to do on the holiday route? Located in Lévis, a stone’s throw from Québec, the Parc des Chutes-de-la-Chaudière is the stop to add to your itinerary. Young and old will have fun crossing the footbridge suspended 23 m above the river and will be able to admire the force of the falls thanks to various belvederes. The park offers 4.5 km of groomed trails, from easy to intermediate level. It is also possible to picnic there with the family.

Discover the many facets of electricity at the Électrium. During the guided tour, you will be able to observe an electric eel, measure the speed of your reflexes and experiment with static electricity with the Van de Graaff generator. For budding scientists aged 6 to 12, workshops on various topics, ranging from the solar system to molecular cuisine, are organized throughout the summer. Reservations are required.

Lanaudière: the festival for children

Mon Festival is celebrating its 30e editing.
Whether your child is an artist at heart, an apprentice gardener or a future researcher, Mon Festival offers activities that will please them. DIY, horticulture and science workshops are on the program for the 30e edition of this event for children from 2 to 12 years old. During the weekend, more than 30 artists will take the stage to present plays, music and circus performances. The Petites Tounes and Barbada will be part of the party. And, unusual fact: there will even be performances… in the trees.
