For the first time in eight years, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) will hold one of its evenings at the Videotron Center on August 21. Fans will have the opportunity to see Quebecer Sami Zayn and the rest of the wrestlers of the SmackDown division at work.
You have to go back to a gala at the Colisée Pepsi, on October 18, 2014, to find a trace of Vince McMahon’s company in the Capitale-Nationale. On Friday, his big comeback was confirmed.
A fight is also planned between the treacherous Zayn and the tough Scotsman Drew McIntyre. Current Intercontinental Champion belt holder Ricochet, who beat Laval for the title in March, will also be in action, as will Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Naomi.
Two days prior, on Friday August 19th, the weekly SmackDown gala will air at the Bell Center in Montreal.
